Congrats Team #Heartbreaker: We completed Girlguiding Moulsham District's Pumpkin Spotting Challenge
Hey #Heartbreakers! Hope you're having an amazing October! It's officially Spooky Season complete with pumpkin spiced everything, lots of orange and black, and candy. Lots of candy.
Last year I had the amazing chance to host Team #Heartbreaker's participation in Girlguiding Moulsham District's Pumpkin Spotting Challenge! Team #Heartbreaker is my virtual club of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides living in the US and around the world. I love Team #Heartbreaker because we can participate virtually in opportunities like Girl Scout QuestFest, WAGGG's STEM Consultation for Girls and Young Women, and the Pumpkin Spotting Challenge to earn patches and create unforgettable memories together!
For the 2022 Pumpkin Spotting Challenge, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from across the US, Canada, England, and the Philippines joined me to complete 10 challenges and count how many pumpkins they spot throughout the month of October. We crowned 20 Champion Pumpkin Spotters and added this International Patch to our growing collections!

Aurora joined Team #Heartbreaker from Michigan! We loved the photos her Mom snapped of her joining our Team #Heartbreaker Zoom meetings!
I'm always so proud of Team #Heartbreaker and the amount of dedication, creativity, and hard work they bring to every challenge, project, and meeting. I am always inspired by their amazing energy and confidence!

Challenge Completed: Pumpkin Volcano!
Boo (aka me...aka I) made a pumpkin volcano for Team #Heartbreaker's participation in Girlguiding Moulsham District's Pumpkin Spotting Challenge !!! It kinda gave witches brew/cauldron vibes! You can grab the instructions HERE to make your own Pumpkin Volcano!
Plus, check out Tessa's Pumpkin Volcano that she created all the way in the Philippines! Incredible work, Tessa!
Challenge Completed: Pumpkin Cupcake/Cookie/Donut Decorating!
I'm 100% for any excuse to eat cupcakes, so we were *not* passing up this challenge! Team #Heartbreaker and I got creative in the kitchen, icing cupcakes, cookies, and donuts. Most of us snapped photos before we ate them. Some of us did not.
My giant cookie (left) was a mix between a pumpkin (obvi) and a Poké Ball. It fit perfectly with our Pumpkin Spotting Challenge - gotta catch 'em all! ;)

Challenge Completed: Dress up as your favorite TV Show or Movie Character!
Great minds think alike?! I think so! Leonora joined Team #Heartbreaker from Toronto, Canada and we twinned it up as Boo from Monsters, Inc. Boo is a queen and Monsters, Inc is my absolute fave movie. I actually saw it in theaters 3.5 times (the half is the time we were late, so we had to go see it a third time to make up for it!!!).

Challenge Completed: Pumpkin Origami!
Not gonna lie....this was a toughie and definitely put the word challenge in "Pumpkin Challenge." But we worked together to make it happen! Trying to do origami on Zoom is...difficult, but the pumpkins turned out SO cute!
Marielle from the Philippines worked super hard to create her (beautiful!) origami pumpkin - it looks like it's straight out of a pumpkin patch!
You can make your very own origami pumpkin, too! This would be such a cute decoration for each guest at your Thanksgiving table!
Challenge Completed: Pumpkin Activity Sheets!
Who doesn't love a good word scramble, maze or crossword puzzle? I mean...I am the QUEEN of mazes. They are my secret talent.

I'm pretty sure I spotted over 400 pumpkins ;)
